7-7 Two men arrested nearly 6 years after 55-year-old George Klinghammer
was killed by a hit and run driver in Denver, Colorado on 10/10/2000. In
many states the statute of limitation would have made their arrest impossible
this many years after the crime. In others, there is no time limit to arrest
a hit and run killer.

911 with a horrific case of attempted hit and run. Apparently a 29 year old
mother, with three DUI's on her driving record, and allegedly drunk again,
had struck a light pole, injuring her 3 children. Instead of calling 911,
this woman was witnessed to drag one of her little boys with a hurt leg down
the street. Another boy, with a bloody face, was rescued by the witness',
and one small girl crawled thru a window and ran up to a witness' asking
to be taken to her grandmother. The mother was charged with DUI, leaving
the scene, and 3 counts of child abuse with great bodily harm.
