An off duty police detective has been arrested for the hit and run death of Paulo Barrios-Bautista on Sunday. The day before, an off duty Detroit policeman was critically injured when a hit and run driver crashed into his motorcycle. Laying at the side of the road, with one leg amputated at the knee, Officer Wiley Stewart was robbed by one witness of his gun and personal possesions. The hit and run driver offered bystanders a beer to help him open his damaged hood, and then drove off.
