of 6/26, the hit and run driver is in jail charged with aggravated assault

Rarely do hit and run accidents receive national attention in the US.
But across the world, there are 3 hit and run incidents that are getting
front page coverage in their respective countries. In Australia, the Kapunda
Road royal commission is holding a special hearing into the 2003 hit and
run death of cyclist Ian Humphrey and the questionable sentence of only $3100
fine given to the driver, lawyer Eugene McGee. In India, the trial of Bollywood
actor Salman Kahn is beginning for the 2002 hit and run death of one and
injuring of four. And in Ireland, a 3 year long government tribunal, has
determined that an investigation into the 1996 death of cattle dealer Richie
Barron was totally negligent and two men were deliberately framed for murder
by local law enforcement. A second autopsy in 2001 determined Mr Barron was
the victim of a hit and run driver. And in the coming month, one of Spain's
biggest flamenco stars, Farruquito, will go on trial, accused of the hit-and-run
killing of a pedestrian in 2003.

appears to have started when two vehicles got into a minor accident, and
then one began chasing the other. The chased vehicle crashed, killing
the passenger and seriously injuring the driver. The chasing mini-van then
fled the scene. Across the nation near Foley, Alabama, a hit and run driver
dies when he is thrown from his overturning car after he fled a minor hit
and run crash. He also was chased by his victim and police are investigating
whether charges will be filed. This site strongly discourages pursuing
a hit and run driver, as your good intentions, or vigilante search for justice,
could land you in prison if someone, especially an innocent third party,
